Brand New Eyes (stylized as brand new eyes) is the upcoming third studio album by American rock band Paramore, scheduled for release through Fueled by Ramen on September 29, 2009. The album was produced by Rob Cavallo and recorded in the Hidden Hills of California from January to March, 2009. Pre-production took place took place in Nashville for six weeks before the band headed to California to record. It was the first time they had undergone pre-production without the guidance of a producer. Williams described this period as "really stressful". The recording process was seen as "therapy" by the band. Before it was written, they were at the the point of splitting, but through the lyrics and the music, they let their emotions out at each other. After which they were able to openly discussed their problems with each other. The title Brand New Eyes was based on a track that was later cut from the album and means "seeing everything in a whole new perspective.
